20th Birthday Celebrations

The Nursery held their 20th Birthday Celebrations in July starting with a special service in the church when parents, children and staff past and present all joined together to say ‘thank you’ to God.
Different people gave their recollections, photos were displayed and the whole happy occasion was rounded off with a giant picnic.

Two days later the Mayor came and transfixed the children as she transformed herself with all her robes and accessories. The children (and many visiting parents) sang and participated, before enjoying what all good birthdays have - a cake and a party!
Fire Station visit:
Last year we visited the North Kensington fire station. Fireman Ben and his friends showed us around and let us turn on and hold onto the fire hose! Ben also showed us how quickly he could get down the pole, put on his uniform and get into the truck.
Rainforest Advenure: A whole assortment of God’s wonderful creations!
Stuart from Zoolab came to tell us about his rainforest adventure and to show us some of the animals and insects that he had found when he was there. There was Crunchie the chocolate millipede, Mario the snail, Pablo, Pedro and Speedy the hissing cockroaches, Phoenix the leaf insect, Incy Wincy the tarantula, Cloud the snake, and Stuart's pet guinea pig Ziggy.
