Recent Weddings
Helen and Ken had their wedding ceremony at St Peter's this year as shown in these beautiful pictures taken by Wild Weddings

"Our ceremony at St. Peter's was made personal to us with Mark's help and truly represented our values and beliefs - the readings, hymns and music were meaningful to us with family and friends taking part during the ceremony.Having our wedding at St. Peter's was a joyful experience from the planning stage to the actual day and now when we attend services it feels like the church is 'our special place' which gives each visit enourmous meaning. I can't thank Mark enough for making our wedding day so special and for his warmth and humour which made us feel at ease during the lead up to the wedding."

Lucy and Joe also married at St Peter's in the new year. These lovely photos were taken by Louise Bjorling Wedding Photography
“St Peter’s is a beautiful church, and it was wonderful to be married in such a lovely, calm place which is a real part of the local community. Mark is incredibly welcoming and relaxed, and so many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed the service, Peter (the organist) even arranged a Bob Marley song on the organ for us!”.
Philippa and Rishad were married at St Peter's in 2011 and sent us these photos. Philippa told us Our wedding at St Peter's church was a fantastic experience on what was such a perfect day. Mark was hugely supportive in working with us to create a service which was inclusive of my husband's Sikh/Zoroastrian and my Church of England faith. The end result was a hugely meaningful experience for our families and us, which was reflected in the readings and prayers. We would both highly recommend Mark and his team to any other future brides and grooms.
Church Hiring
St Peter's church has excellent facilities that have recently been renovated, they include a grade two listed organ, state of the art kitchen, toilet facilities, stunning stained glass windows. The gallery in the upper balcony is ideal for celebrating with a glass of champagne and should you wish to film your wedding from a good vantage point.
Marriage preparation
The church kindly requests that a couple of marriage preparation sessions geared to exploring individuals values and expectations of marriage are attended by the future bride and groom.
Church Service
Music
Music can play a very important role in establishing the atmosphere in church. A meeting with the church's organist can be a good way to begin selecting the music for the service, particularly if the bride and groom wish to explore different ideas.
Soloist or choir
Having a choir or soloist can assist in helping the congregation's singing and something which the church is happy to help with.
Order of Service
The church can work with couples in preparing a tailored service or recommend a conventional wedding service.
