Can I visit the hall before I make a booking?
Yes - you are welcome to take a look around - please contact the office beforehand to check that the hall is not in use.
Do you offer discounts?
Discounts are available to support groups (AA/NA for example), please contact the office directly to discuss your requirements.
I have already paid for my booking but I need to cancel, can I get a refund?
As per our terms and conditions, refunds will only be issued if your booking is cancelled three weeks prior to the date of hire. If your booking is cancelled before the three week period, we will issue a refund minus a £20 administration fee.
If I have booked the hall for a children’s party, can I arrive earlier and leave later than hire period stated in by booking (2.30pm - 6.30pm on Saturdays and Sundays)?
The hall is used by other groups before and after these time periods, so you will not be able to access the hall before your allotted time slot and you must vacate the hall by the time stated.
Do I need to clean the hall when I leave?
The hall, toilets and kitchen area are cleaned thoroughly every morning. As the hall is used by a number of different groups throughout the day, all hall users must leave the facilities in good condition when they leave, ensuring that any chairs or tables used are returned to their original location, floors are clear and surfaces wiped clean.
Does the hall have any catering facilities?
There is a small kitchen area that includes a microwave, dishwasher, sink and kettles that you are welcome to make use of, should you choose to. We do not have a fridge or any cooking facilities.
